TERMS FOR ELECTRONIC ACCESS TO DEVELOPMENT TODAY
Subscribers to the print version of Development Today (DT) have the option of ordering electronic access to the journal on the website address: www.development-today.com. By ordering an electronic subscription to DT, you accept the following terms:
Single user registration: Each electronic subscription to Development Today is for one single user only. The registration includes a username and a password. DT does not permit single user electronic subscriptions to be made available to multiple users, placed on a network or used as part of a regular internal information service.
Development Today reserves the right to cancel or suspend your access to www.development-today.com if you make your electronic subscription available to others. You are also responsible for unauthorised use of your ID.
Electronic subscription linked to paper subscription: An electronic subscription to Development Today is always linked to a paper subscription. The electronic subscription can be accessed from a personal e-mail address and allows the subscriber to download articles and other material for personal use.
You can print single copies of articles on paper, but not photocopy them. You may also store articles on your personal computer.
Multi-subscriptions, Intranet: Multi-subscriptions or access to the electronic version of www.development-today.com via your employer’s intranet can be ordered separately from Development Today’s Marketing Department.
Please note that if you use Development Today in your work (for entities like firms, public sector bodies, foundations, NGOs or charities) and your use of the service goes beyond what is permitted by these terms, please contact Development Today concerning the special requirements of your organisation. This also concerns permission to republish, redistribute or syndicate DT material.
Intellectual property: All articles and other material published on Development Today’s web site are protected by international copyright laws. By accessing DT’s web site you acknowledge and accept to respect national and international laws protecting the intellectual property of articles and other material published on the DT web site.
Publications, articles and other material downloaded from DT’s web site are for your personal use and cannot be modified, redistributed, commercially exploited or publicly displayed.
You cannot without written permission from Development Today:
- redistribute articles or other material from DT’s web site. This restriction includes news aggregation, library or archive services and all other kinds of commercial exploitation of DT material.
- create a database for systematic and regular downloading of DT material.
- remove the copyright, brand or trademark references to Development Today on any DT material.
Please also note:As part of our electronic service we will send you an alert message with headlines for each issue of Development Today. We also reserve the right to send occasional service messages to your e-mail address.
If you purchase a subscription to Development Today by credit card, the payment will be converted from EURO, SEK or DKK to Norwegian crowns (NOK). As the credit card company converts the amount back to your local currency, the price may be slightly higher or lower depending on currency exchange rates.
