GTZ crash-lands in Danida market

The landscape is shifting for consultancy firms in the Danish aid market.

Development Today’s annual survey of Danida procurement reveals that the traditionally big Danish players are losing influence, medium-sized companies are gaining a market share, and interest from non-Danish firms continues to grow.

More than 25 non-Danish firms expressed interest in the Danida market last year. GTZ International Services, owned by the German aid agency GTZ, bid for four Danish aid consultancy contracts and lost all of them.
