Socialist Left Minister makes u-turn, boosts World Bank funding
When the Red-Green Norwegian government took office two years ago, it promised to increase funding to the UN at the expense of the World Bank.
Now it uses the money weapon with UN agencies, while boosting World Bank funding before the donor negotiations about future financing of the Bank is even finalised.
