British Mokoro awarded

The London-based Mokoro consulting firm has been awarded another major evaluation contract by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Higher eduction sector in South Africa

The Finnish Foreign Ministry wishes to conduct a mid-term review of its support to the higher education sector in South Africa, a programme running from 2005 to 2008.

The Foreign Ministry in Copenhagen has decided to outsource the management of its international humanitarian service, and is looking for a consultant to handle the practical work related to recruitment and maintenance of a candidates register.

The Swedish Afghanistan Committee has operated in Afghanistan for 25 years with funds from Sida. As such, SCA has been a key channel of Swedish aid to the war-torn country, as well as a prominent actor within Afghanistan.

In June 2007, the Danida Programme Committee approved the second phase of the Good Governance and Human Rights Programme in Ghana, which will run from 2009 to 2013. The budget for this programme is set at DKK 300 million.

In preparation for the next phase of Swedish support to Zambia 2008-2012 where the energy sector is a focal area, Sida announces a tender to develop a proposal for support to capacity building within the Zambian Ministry of Energy and Water Development (MEWD).
