Mapping agency cancels illegal agreement with Swedesurvey

The Swedish National Land Survey has cancelled a cooperation agreement on international aid-financed assignments with the consultancy firm Swedesurvey.

The Swedish Competition Authority has ruled that the failure to put these contracts on tender violates the Swedish Public Procurement Law.

Since 2006, the mapping agency has given Swedesurvey Sida assignments worth SEK 14 million.
