Following coverage in Danish media of the Foreign Ministry’s handling of corruption in aid, the Ministry will make its reporting on misused funds more transparent. Denmark now aims to be the most open donor in this area.

Norwegian firms suspect World Bank of using secret blacklist
The World Bank has pulled out of a small hydropower project, Bugoye in Uganda, claiming the participation of two Norwegian firms poses “an unacceptable level of reputational risk to the World Bank Group". No Norwegian firms appear on the World Bank’s official blacklist of companies involved in corruption.
