Danish Industry wants more private sector aid

 
The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) is not satisfied with the new budget proposal. The organisation is disappointed about the Danish aid budget for next year. “We are surprised that more funds are not reserved for private sector efforts," says International Policy Advisor at DI Marie Gad.

SEKAB biofuel project in Tanzania tests new Sida guarantee facility

 
The Swedish biofuel company SEKAB has been unable to find a new investor for its planned biofuel plantation projects in Tanzania, and has turned to Sida for an aid-financed credit guarantee. SEKAB argues that Sida’s support is crucial for continuation of the project.
