Maasai left out of Tanzania forest climate plan

Sille Stidsen at IWGIA challenges Norway’s commitment to involve indigenous peoples in its NOK 500 million forest climate programme in Tanzania. The Maasai are regularly intimidated by authorities, in line with the long-standing government policy to eradicate the lifestyle of nomadic pastoralists.
