USD 1.5b vaccine scheme to cost donors billions more

The G8’s Advance Market Commitment (AMC) has been described as a USD 1.5 billion subsidy that will incentivise drug companies to invest in the production of vaccines for pneumococcal diseases, a major killer of children in the developing world.
