Non-Danish firms claim half Danida pie in 2009

 
The market for Danish aid-financed consultancy contracts shrunk noticeably in 2009 to just DKK 92 million for 15 separate projects, DT's review of contracts in 2009 shows. Non-Danish firms continue to fare well in the Danida market.

Plethora of Swedish loans and guarantees for infrastructure

 
The Swedish aid agency Sida has committed more than SEK 2.5 billion for infrastructure projects through its untied scheme for guarantees and loans which started up earlier this year. Projects are located in Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa.
