New approval for Green Resources plantation in Tanzania

The Uchindile and Mapanda plantation and conservation project in Tanzania of the Norwegian-owned company, Green Resources, has received validation under the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS).

The British development consultancy ITAD has been awarded a contract by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) to carry out an evaluation of donor activities in the field of anti-corruption.

More than NOK 10 billion in Norwegian aid has been spent in the West Balkan region since 1991. Norad announces a tender for evaluation of this assistance.

In January 2009, the detailed planning of common premises for all UN agencies in Copenhagen, better known as the Danish “UN City" commenced. The development is based on a partnership between the government of Denmark and CPH City & Port Development.
