Mitigating climate change in agriculture

Agriculture is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, but there is also huge potential for mitigation through the adoption of known climate-friendly practices. Marja-Liisa Tapio-Biström says additional funds are needed to compensate farmers for carrying out this environmental service.
