SEK 1.3 billion in Nordic government and NGO funds for Haiti

Funds raised in the four Nordic countries in response to the Haiti earthquake have reached SEK 1.29 billion, divided evenly between governments and public donations to NGOs, Development Today’s overview reveals.

Norway is one of the Clinton Foundation’s main donors. As the current funding agreement expires at year's end, a decision must be made about whether to continue. Back in 2003, the Foreign Ministry in Oslo had strong misgivings about supporting the foundation.
