Norway and Iraq will soon sign an agreement on expansion of the controversial aid-financed Oil For Development Programme which aims to help Iraqis manage their oil sector. Norway will provide NOK 20 million over three years.
The Swedish aid agency Sida is developing a new tool box for its private sector aid scheme and aims to multiply funding of such support to several hundred million crowns annually.
Maximum support for individual companies will be EUR 200,000. The scheme will remain untied.
