NGO fund for work on sexual health

The Foreign Ministry in Copenhagen, along with the Dutch Foreign Ministry and the Packard Foundation intend to provide financial support to a “Civil Society Fund for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights” to be established and managed by a Fund Manager.

This fund manager will be competitively selected by the Packard Foundation. A maximum of five short-listed applicants will be invited to submit a proposal. After selection, the fund manager will submit a grant proposal to the donor agencies.

The fund aims to support the work of civil society organisations dealing with sensitive issues, including violence against women and girls, discrimination due to sexual orientation, sex education and unsafe abortion.

The deadline for submitting expressions of interest is November 8, 2013.
