Danida private sector funding for SDG 8

The Danish Foreign Ministry has launched a DKK 60 million fund to promote market-driven economic growth in developing countries, the Danida Market Development Partnerships.

The partnership will contribute to the development of markets with a focus on Sustainable Development Goal 8 - “Decent Work and Economic Growth.”

The starting point for partnership projects is a business idea to be carried out by one or several entities. Support will be given to projects that combine knowledge and the resources of several actors to ensure the broadest possible results.  The fund encourages partnerships with civil society organisations, research institutes, business associations and other non-commercial actors.

The deadline for apply for funding is September 15, 2017.
