FATF cancels planned draconian NGO rules

Swedish development NGOs that protested proposed measures from the Justice Ministry for monitoring the NGO sector can relax for a while. The money laundering monitoring group FATF has called off its plans due to widespread opposition. But NGOs will not be happy about a similar EU proposal.
