Labour strengthens grip on aid budget

Norwegian Minister for Environment and Development Erik Solheim (Socialist Left) is now in charge of only 60 per cent of the aid budget. The Labour Party has secured control over areas vital for foreign and security policy, as well as initiatives that make Norway visible on the global scene.
