Norway impatient with FAO reforms. Sweden gives core funding

Sweden replaces Norway as a provider of programme support to the Rome-based Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).

Norway is impatient with the pace of the reform process and has taken back control of its funding to the UN agency. The Swedes, on the other hand, see a cup half full. They are satisfied with the progress that has been made, and have signed a four-year agreement for core support.
