Guyana solar plan melts icy relationship with Norway over forest and energy

At a ministerial meeting on the fringes of a forest conference in Oslo, Guyana laid out a plan for rapid expansion of solar power as a key clean energy source. The tiny South American nation hopes to resolve a seven-year dispute with Norway over the release of USD 80 million promised to Guyana for keeping its deforestation rate at a low level.
