Nordic relief organisations shut down dozens of US-funded programmes

Three Nordic relief agencies have received at least 55 termination notices for US-funded programmes worth a total of USD 300 million, and they are waiting for reimbursements of USD 51 million for work already carried out. With expenditures piling up, they face a serious liquidity crunch.
