US and Israel snubbed donor meeting aimed at saving Palestinian Authority

When Norway convened a meeting of AHLC donor group last week to prevent the collapse of the Palestinian Authority, the United States and Israel did not show up. Norway plans to continue to nurture the three-decade-old AHLC forum, but the US initiative for ending the war in Gaza will likely, if successful, upend the donor rulebook.
