Norwegian-South African diplomatic blitz to increase G20 covid financing

The Norwegian and South African governments have coordinated a comprehensive diplomatic effort to lobby G20 countries to contribute their fair share of the cost of helping developing countries deal with the covid pandemic. If all G20 countries gave their fair share, 88 per cent of the current USD 19 billion funding gap for vaccines, tests and drugs would be covered.
