Nordic block is third largest contributor to IDA, World Bank’s fund for low-income countries

Updated. The five Nordic countries constitute the third largest donor to the World Bank’s IDA arm, which provides financing to the world’s poorest countries. A ranking of the 22 largest donors shows that China and Saudi Arabia are challenging the G7’s dominating role as World Bank donors.
