Finnish aid workers and diplomats face lay-offs as historic cuts take their toll

Dozens of lay-offs are planned as both the Foreign Ministry and Helsinki-based NGOs adjust their operations to the reality of a EUR 400 million cut in grant-based Finnish aid next year.
