Denmark commits DKK 1.2 billion in aid to new Ukraine Fund
The Danish government has announced a new fund for military, civilian, and private sector support to Ukraine worth a total of DKK 7 billion during 2023. The lion’s share goes to weapons but 17 per cent of the fund will finance civilian efforts, which will be covered by the aid budget. The fund, which has broad parliamentary backing, will have a special focus on reconstruction in the coastal ship-building town of Mykolaiv.
