Egypt and Norway prepare for humanitarian Gaza conference in Cairo

Norway continues its diplomatic efforts in the Middle East, talking to all parties in the Palestinian conflict, including Hamas. Norway is, with Egypt, preparing for a humanitarian conference for Gaza in Cairo. Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide says a plan for the conference is ready to go. The Norwegian Refugee Council confirms that it rejected an inquiry from Swedish Sida about taking over funds intended for UNRWA.
