Gigantic Norwegian corona pledge will mainly be spent on other diseases

Of 30 countries that pledged money for the global coronavirus appeal, hosted by the EU this week, Norway topped the donor list with a NOK 13 billion (USD 1.22 billion) contribution. A closer look at this figure reveals that most of this money will be spent on diseases other than COVID-19.
