Civil society strategy outlines Sida’s new funding system, earmarks direct grants to Global South
The new Swedish civil society strategy calls for more transparency and diversity in Sida’s support to organisations in Sweden and other countries. For the first time, the government specifies that 8 per cent of funds are to be earmarked for NGOs in the Global South. [Updated]
