Sida’s Jakob Granit on executing the will of government
The Director General of Sida Jakob Granit has been steering the Swedish aid agency through very rough waters since he took over two years ago. He has implemented controversial new policies, like the revamp of NGO grant giving and the defunding of UNRWA. At the end of the day, Granit says in an interview with Development Today, Sida must carry out the government’s wishes.
